The COTTON CANVAS BARN COAT is an outdoor sporting garment, originally built for hunters but designed to function across all types of outdoor use. It features a rugged cotton duck canvas shell and is detailed with a classic corduroy collar. A large game pocket spans the back panel, while the oversized front pockets are equipped with internal cartridge loops, offering quick access and smart storage in the field.

This coat draws from mid-century American field jackets, particularly those from the 1950s and 60s, when outdoor wear began evolving from single-purpose gear into all-around functional clothing. The lineage goes back even further, however, to early hunting coats introduced in the 1900s. By the late 1940s, hunting coats came to be known as “field coats” to reflect broader appeal, but their continued popularity among hunters spoke to how well they delivered in rugged conditions.
